Discover Pirna in a playful way

Pirna is a great town for kids with many playgrounds where they can play and enjoy themselves. The big playgrounds are on the Old Town side, in the Thälmannpark, and by the Elbwiesen, in Copitz, in the Wesenitzaue as well as on the Sonnenstein.

A very special attraction is the Pirna (hi)story playgrounds which present historical topics in a playful way. With the colourful stone paths, children are also kept entertained on a visit to the town. The best way to explore the historic Old Town with children is with the kids’ town map. An insider tip: the
Schatzsucherpfad (Treasure Trail) which leads up to Sonnenstein Castle along the terrace gardens.

On a hot summer’s day, the Fontänenfeld fountains in the Friedenspark will help keep you cool.
