Playpark without limits

As the name suggests, the ‘playground without limits’ offers boundless play for young and old, across cultures and without barriers. A journey of discovery into other worlds of play – a central meeting place surrounded by play opportunities for the youngest, fitness equipment for the oldest, play tables for young and old, meadows for romping and picnicking as well as play offers from all over the world. The city's senior citizens' representatives, the residential home for disabled children and young people, the equal opportunities officer for the city of Pirna, the neighbourhood management and the coordinator for migration and integration were particularly involved in the planning. Valuable information, e.g. about the play requirements of disabled children, was obtained and taken into account during the implementation.

Pirna's playgrounds

„Steinladeplatz“

Spielplatz am Elbufer in Pirna

In the park by the river Elbe, next to the Elbe cycle path, everything revolves around the theme of water and shipping.

Thälmannplatz

In the green area, numerous play islands and a skate park invite children of all ages to play and romp.

„Seilerei“

A rope factory was once located here. That's why the playground equipment is themed around rope making.

„Höhe Brücken“

Spielplatz in Graupa

Bridges are the subject of the Jagdschloss Graupa park, also the site of the Wagner museum and memorial.
